There are 2 official conference hotels. The Crowne Plaza is the host hotel, where the shuttle busses pick up and drop off. The Blake, just 3 short blocks away, is our overflow hotel, and offers unique, modern accomodations.
Almost all hotels in downtown Charlotte are completely sold out Oct. 25-27. The Crowne Plaza is sold out on some nights of the conference. We recommend you stay at one of the hotels listed below and take the complimentary shuttle to the convention center.

Located 4 long blocks (a 12 minute walk) from the Charlotte Convention Center, the Crowne Plaza offers the most affordable yet convenient and comfortable accommodations in downtown Charlotte. Speakers and exhibitors are staying at this host hotel.

Shuttle Schedule
As a benefit with your registration, a complimentary shuttle between the Crowne Plaza and the Charlotte Convention Center will be provided each day throughout the day. Parking at the Charlotte Convention Center is extremely limited, so we recommend that you walk or take the shuttle.
The shuttle picks up at the entrance to the Crowne Plaza. People staying at The Blake Hotel should walk to the Crowne Plaza to pick up the shuttle. Click here for a map of the hotel locations.

Dining
The Charlotte Convention Center and downtown Charlotte offer many dining options.
Breakfast will be available for purchase each day of the conference from the College Street Cafe inside the convention center. Lunch will be available for purchase each day of the conference from the concession stand conveniently located in the exhibit hall. See the agenda for details on times when the College Street Cafe and the concession stand will be open for CCIC 2007 attendees.
At the Welcome Party on Thursday, October 25, great munchies and drinks will be provided by our Star Sponsor, Concrete Network.

Charlotte Information
Charlotte, NC is a great place to visit in the Fall! The average daytime temperature in October is 72 degrees Fahrenheit. Charlotte is the largest city in NC, and has many options for entertainment and cultural events, so bring your spouse or friend and enjoy this cosmopolitan and friendly Southern city.
You can also bring a guest to the Welcome Reception Party on Thursday, October 25 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm for just $45. Just indicate on the registration form how many guests you are bringing.
