    Rich Rhoades will demonstrate Buddy’s signature technique and how he incorporates a sink mold in the countertop. He will use a clever plexi-glass mold so that you can see the underside-soon-to-be-topside as he works.

  • Going Vertical in a Fiberglass Furniture Mold

    Observe how the Buddy Rhodes Countertop Mix is used to walk up the side of a fiberglass mold to construct a hollow furniture piece. Understand the reinforcement and the distinct consistency of the two layers of Mix required.

  • The Hard Trowel Concrete Countertop Technique

    Many clients prefer a smooth monotone finish, yet hand worked. See how the Buddy Rhodes Countertop Mix can be used to hard-trowel a countertop cast right-side-up in the mold.

  • Reverse Cast or “Pour and Vibrate” Method

    If you like the pour and vibrate method, an alternative to our BR studio techniques, you can use Buddy Rhodes Countertop Mix and a water reducer to achieve the same results. Rich Rhoades, our national trainer, will show you how.

Saturday, October 27: Grand finale! 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

  • Finishing Techniques 

    Learn how to achieve a beautiful and subtle finished concrete surface on the various projects we have been working on during the conference. We will demonstrate pasting the voids in the pressed technique, sanding and sealing. Don't miss seeing how all these beautiful pieces turn out.
